约克大学学习心得 沈若然

抱着想让自己多学到一些知识的目的，我报名参加了这个学期的约克大学课程。学校给了我一个很好的机会，通过这一学期的学习，也让我受益匪浅。我认为能够利用英语技能在专业领域进行有效的交流是在全球化和瞬息万变的世界中为个人提供无限机会的一种 方式。培养必要的英语技能以在商业和专业环境中蓬勃发展被认为是个人成功的关键。通过约克大学的老师们的讲解，我很好的掌握了英语商务英语技能和职业英语发展有关的知识，培养了听力能力，同时也增强了强大的口头交流与口语技巧和策略，了解了商务谈判和演讲的技巧。作为一名英语专业的学生，这次课程也让我对一直好奇的口译这门工作也有了一些了解。让我影响最深的还是刘晓玲老师的课，其中我最喜欢的是她教我们如何做口译的技巧，其中需要运用到很多口译员专用的符号来简化需要翻译的内容，我认为这是很好的方法，但也需要我们去不断练习。

课程已经结束了，但是所学到的知识我将受益终生。约克大学的线上课程让我感受到了国外大学的新颖教学方式，也谢谢学校给了我这次机会。

In order to learn more knowledge, I signed up for the course of York University this semester. The school gave me a good opportunity, and I benefited a lot from this semester’s study. I believe that being able to use English skills to communicate effectively in the professional world is one way to provide unlimited opportunities for individuals in a globalized and rapidly changing world. Developing the necessary English skills to thrive in business and professional environments is considered key to personal success. Through the explanation of the teachers in York University, I have well mastered the knowledge of English business English skills and professional English development, cultivated my listening ability, enhanced the strong oral communication and oral skills and strategies, and understood the skills of business negotiation and speech. As an English major, this course also made me have some understanding of the work of interpretation, which I have always been curious about. What impressed me the most was Teacher Liu Xiaoling’s class. What I liked most was that she taught us the skills of interpretation, which required the use of many symbols for interpreters to simplify the content to be translated. I think this is a good method, but we also need to keep practicing.

The course is over, but what I learned will benefit me for the rest of my life. The online courses of York University let me feel the novel teaching methods of foreign universities, and I also thank the university for giving me this opportunity.
