The meeting of the Secretariat of the National Pan-Hotel Industry Integration Community for Education and Production was successfully held

The Secretariat of the National Pan-Hotel Industry Integration Community for Education and Production held a successful meeting at the Caobao Road campus of Shanghai Business School. Key attendees included Liu Dongwei, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of Jin Jiang International Group; Lao Xiaoyun, Vice President of Shanghai Business School; Zhu Jianliu, President of Shanghai Nanhu Vocational and Technical College; and Yuan Xiaoying, Director of Human Resources at Jin Jiang International Group.

Lao Xiaoyun opened the meeting by expressing gratitude to all participants and emphasizing Shanghai Business School’s commitment to creating a platform for education-production integration. She encouraged enhanced communication and collaboration among community units.

President Zhu Jianliu emphasized the need for deeper integration of education and industry, reiterating the importance of improving vocational education quality. He highlighted Nanhu’s ongoing efforts to ensure effective talent supply-and-demand matching, while also focusing on rural revitalization and the World Vocational Colleges Skills Competition in 2025.

Secretary Liu Dongwei addressed the opportunities and challenges the group faces, stating that Jin Jiang aims to leverage its position as a leading state-owned enterprise to expand in cultural tourism, urban services, and artificial intelligence. He urged community units to support collaborative projects that drive economic growth in Shanghai.

Lao Xiaoyun pointed out the necessity of blending cultural heritage with modern developments, advocating for the integration of artificial intelligence and digitalization in hospitality. The meeting concluded with enthusiastic discussions on talent cultivation strategies, employment pathways, and resource integration.

The participants reached a consensus on the community’s focus for 2025, which includes establishing new professional standards, promoting high-quality employment, and cultivating skilled talents. The aim is to enhance the integration of the education, talent, industry, and innovation chains.

The National Pan-Hotel Industry Integration Community for Education and Production was officially established on October 30, 2023, at Shanghai Business School, responding to modern vocational education reform and supporting industry development through collaborative efforts among various stakeholders.
