SBS-York University Jointly-Sponsored Food Safety Online Course Launched Smoothly

Recently, the online program jointly organized by SBS and York University of Canada was launched for the first time in the Food Quality and Safety major of the School of Hospitality Management. The school selected the 30-hour course of Food Safety Management for the students. 17 students from food quality and safety major of the School of Hospitality Management attended the international online course.
The purpose of this food safety management course is to help the students who intend to work in food management related industries to understand the development trend of food safety under the globalization situation, and to understand the best practices of Canada as the No.1 country in the global food safety management in terms of policy, food industry management, food safety management, etc.
The 30-hour online food safety management program will be carried out through online interactive courses, online seminars, online group discussions, and online interaction with industry experts. In addition, the course will further include tremendous sharing and communication with industry experts on environmental analysis of food industry, future career trend of food safety management major, personal brand building, interview skills, etc., so that students can advance their career through the complete learning process.
