On the morning of June 10, 2021, Beijing time, the online graduation ceremony for the “Financial Cooperation Seminar for Spanish Speaking Countries” sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China and organized by MOFCOM Training Base for International Business Officials (Shanghai) (hereinafter referred to Shanghai Training Base) was launched. Vice President He Ying summarized the seminar on behalf of the school. She said that the epidemic has hindered the travel of people all over the world, but it could not stop the transmission of friendship between them. The seminar is a new starting point for China and the participating Spanish speaking countries to learn from each other in the field of financial cooperation, as well as a link for the continuous warming up of friendly relations between China and the Spanish speaking countries. She hoped that the trainees could bring the knowledge and experience gained during the training to their compatriots, and promote the level of domestic financial cooperation.
Speaking on behalf of all the students, Federico Rodriguez, Inspection Coordinator of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Uruguay, said that the seminar brought together nearly 100 participants from Latin America to learn online, which was undoubtedly an extraordinary work. He was very grateful to the Ministry of Commerce of China and Shanghai Business School for providing all the students with this rare opportunity.
On behalf of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce and AIBO, Vice President Chen Runyun expressed his heartfelt thanks to Shanghai Business School, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, the Chinese embassies in Latin America, as well as the experts, scholars and working teams who participated in the lectures. He said that although China and Latin American countries were geographically far apart, their friendship and practical cooperation were deepening and strengthening day by day. He hoped that in the post epidemic era, the financial cooperation could be further enhanced and deepened.
The students recognize that the online training course is rich in content and has a good sense of experience, which benefits them a lot and creates unlimited possibilities for future cooperation. They hope that in the near future they will have the opportunity to come to China and Shanghai to experience the development and changes of China from a zero distance, and have in-depth cultural interaction with Chinese friends to deepen their friendship.
