University of Nottingham Experts Visit SBS, Sharing Insights on Innovation and Global Study Pathways
To deepen international exchange and cooperation and broaden students' global vision, a delegation of experts from the University of Nottingham, UK, was invited to Shanghai Business School to deliver a special sharing session. The session attracted more than 60 students, featuring enthusiastic interaction and a vibrant atmosphere, bringing a highly academic and practical international education experience to our students.

The expert speakers included Mr. Nick Proverb, Senior Manager of Executive Education; Professor Simon Mosey, Director of the Haydn Green Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship; Dr. José González, Assistant Professor; and Mr. Jack Ji, China Partnerships Manager. Mr. Nick Proverb provided a thorough introduction to the University of Nottingham's academic strengths and educational systems, giving students a comprehensive understanding of this world-renowned university. Professor Simon Mosey and Dr. José González delivered in-depth presentations on innovation and entrepreneurship, using the real business case of Panda Food Delivery to illustrate cutting-edge innovative concepts and practical entrepreneurial pathways. Their accessible analysis of innovative thinking in business struck a strong chord with the audience.
Mr. Jack Ji focused on the University of Nottingham Integrated Pre-Master's Pathway Program, explaining its advantages, application procedures, study models and progression routes in detail, offering clear guidance for students planning to study abroad.

During the interactive Q&A session, students actively raised questions regarding curriculum structure, admission requirements, overseas living, and innovation and entrepreneurship practices. The expert panel responded to each question patiently, creating a lively and engaging communication environment.
This session not only built a solid bridge between Shanghai Business School and the University of Nottingham but also offered students a valuable opportunity to engage directly with top international experts and learn about premium overseas study programs. It effectively supports the continuous improvement of our university's international talent development.
