Second Batch of Six Undergraduate Programs at Our University Achieves ACBSP Accreditation

Recently, the university received an official notification from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) that all six undergraduate programs submitted in the second batch have successfully obtained accreditation. These programs are: Business Economics, International Economy and Trade, Retail Management, Tourism Management, Logistics Management, and Information Management and Information Systems. At the recent meeting of ACBSP’s Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Commission, the committee unanimously approved the accreditation resolution for the six newly applied programs of our university.

Launched in March 2023, the accreditation process strictly aligned with ACBSP’s seven core standards, including Leadership, Strategic Planning, Students and Stakeholders, Assessment of Student Learning, Faculty Development, Curriculum, and Teaching Effectiveness. The university deeply integrated accreditation criteria into the entire process of program development and talent cultivation. Based on data accumulated from two rounds of the Common Professional Component (CPC) assessments for business programs, targeted curriculum reforms were promoted. Combining the development trends of new business disciplines, efforts were made to construct a digital and intelligent curriculum system and an industry-education integration talent training model, gradually forming distinctive program features that integrate international perspectives with industry adaptability.

Dr. Steve Parscale, ACBSP’s Chief Accreditation Officer, expressed his expectation for continuous cooperation with our university in the notification letter and invited the university to attend the 2026 ACBSP Annual Conference in June to celebrate the accreditation achievements together.

The successful accreditation of these six programs marks a significant milestone in the internationalization of the university’s business education. It signifies that the quality of program development and the talent training system have gained international recognition, laying a solid foundation for the university to further enhance its educational influence and deepen the cultivation of high-quality applied business talents.
