On the morning of October 30th, the Canada-China Education Exchange (Shanghai Session), organized by the Canada-China Business Council (CCBC), was held at the Kunlun JingAn Hotel in Shanghai. As one of the invited Chinese institutions, Shanghai Business School was represented at the event by Ms. Yang Bing, the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, who engaged in discussions on potential cooperation with nearly 20 Canadian universities and educational institutions.

Distinguished guests attending the event included Mr. Alexandre Cérat, Consul General & Senior Trade Commissioner of the Canadian Consulate General in Shanghai; Mr. Jeff Zhang, Canada-China Regional Director of the CCBC; and Mr. Jiang Haishan, President of International Education Association Shanghai. The meeting focused on three key cutting-edge topics: AI in education, online teaching, and inter-institutional collaboration, providing an efficient and direct platform for dialogue between the education sectors of China and Canada.

Through this exchange, Shanghai Business School established initial connections with renowned Canadian universities such as Brock University and the University of British Columbia. The university will seize this opportunity to further deepen practical cooperation with high-level educational institutions in North America, aiming to build broader international exchange platforms for its faculty and students, and to comprehensively enhance our university’s international influence and talent cultivation quality.
